About Damian Szlachta

Lake Lanier is home to some of the best spotted bass fishing in the entire world, and I feel very fortunate to live on this lake. 

I am originally a Pennsylvania native that has been actively involved in fishing since my childhood.

At 16, I began fishing local tournaments. After getting some local experience, I began fishing at the collegiate level for Bloomsburg University.  In 2018 I created the Bloomsburg University Fishing Team and was the Founder and President for the 4 years I attended. In 2022, I graduated from Bloomsburg with a degree in Business Management. After I graduated, I moved down full time to Lake Lanier. I began guiding in 2022 and loved every second of it. Whether you are looking to catch that trophy bass of a lifetime, want to learn a new technique, or just have fun catching fish on Lake Lanier, I will do everything I can to make your fishing trip a success. 

My mission in life is to share my passion of fishing with others. As a full time Guide, I will assist new and experienced anglers on the water, helping them build their skills so they can become more well rounded anglers.
